Helene Koligian is a family lawyer and partner here at King, Koligian &
Associates, LLC, with a strong desire to provide support and help to families
in Montgomery, Ohio.
Although Helene was born in New York, she grew up in California and New Mexico. She made her way to Cincinnati in pursuit of her law degree, and has been here since.
She was drawn to the legal profession because of her keen interest in the law and strong desire to help people. One of her favorite parts of being an attorney is meeting a new or returning clients and being able to provide support and legal expertise, ultimately helping them through a difficult time in their lives.
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from U.C. Berkley in 1992 in American History. Helene was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996, and has submitted briefs to the First and Twelfth District Court of Appeals.
Helene is always looking for creative resolutions for her clients. She strives to think critically and creatively, determined to find a solution that is best for her client’s needs. Being prepared and being proactive for either negotiation or trial is paramount.
When Helene is not providing legal help to people throughout the Cincinnati area, she stays involved in the community by volunteering. She volunteers with children’s charities like World Vision and Smile Train. She also loves dogs, and is very passionate about the humane treatment of animals. Helene also strives to support local groups who are feeding the homeless in greater Cincinnati area.
She is an avid reader. If you asked her to pick a favorite book, you’d receive quite the lengthy list. She loves anything by Ruth Rendall, Dorothy Sayers, Martha Grimes, or C.S. Lewis. However, her favorite movie is no question: The Godfather.
Outside of work, you might find Helene at one of her favorite Cincinnati restaurants: Quarter Bistro in Mariemont, Dilly Deli, or Eli’s Barbecue, just to name a few.
